It was a great experience for our team to take part in Pre-SXSW Startup Crawl on Thursday night at Capital Factory down in Austin. As a team, here are some of our key observations from another great event.
- The amount of innovation happening today is incredible. There were so many startups at different stages with innovative products or services poised to cause disruption in their industry. It’s exciting to see so much innovation in one room…. OK, several different venues throughout downtown.
- Top concepts are getting funded. Since we specialize in helping startups get funded, it’s one of my natural questions to find out where the company is in the process of raising capital. The best ideas are getting funded...hands down. If you have a good idea, you need to jump on it now, or someone else will.
- Help for your startup has never been easier to obtain. There are a number of resources, companies, consultants, and others out there ready to help you take your idea to the next level.
Our team really enjoyed our experience at Startup Crawl last week. We’re looking forward to a repeat experience in October!
